Founded by professional ballerina and Broadway performer Paulette Thomas, Paulette’s Princess Parties has been creating magical, memory-filled moments across Ohio since 2015. What started as a simple dance party blossomed into a full-fledged production company that now serves thousands of families, cities, schools, and organizations every year, offering everything from private character visits to large-scale theatrical events.
At the heart of it all is Paulette: a performer, teacher, designer, and joyful dreamer whose passion for children, storytelling, and sparkle shines through every costume, cast member, and show.
Meet Queen Paulette
Originally from Pittsburgh, Paulette trained and toured as a professional ballerina with Boston Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet, and BalletMet Columbus before moving into musical theater and eventually launching her own business. Her rich performance background is the foundation for everything she does, bringing real professionalism and artistry to the world of children’s entertainment.
In addition to running her business, Paulette continues to teach dance and theater across Central Ohio and regularly choreographs for local school productions. Her commitment to kids extends far beyond parties—she’s passionate about building confidence, inspiring creativity, and creating inclusive experiences that meet children exactly where they are.
Oh, and did we mention she sews many of the costumes herself? Her one-of-a-kind gowns have become a signature of the brand, adding that extra layer of magic that sets her company apart.
